When Jesus came to earth, He showed us the reality of God. His words and actions revealed His Father's heart — what God does, thinks and feels.
So what did Jesus do?
He proclaimed God’s favor for all people. He transformed sadness into joy. He filled meaninglessness with purpose. He fed the hungry. He healed the sick. He breathed life into the dead and dying. He put chaos back into order.
We believe we’re called and empowered by the Holy Spirit to go and do the same.
In Jesus, we see all of God. Every belief about God must be found in the character of Jesus. If it's not in Jesus, then it's not of God.
This practical reality guides how we love our friends, our neighbors and our enemies every day.
The apostle Paul declared, “It is for freedom that Christ set us free." Proclaiming and living in this freedom fills the heart of all we do.
When God reveals His presence, worship becomes inevitable. God is always present, and will be for all eternity. So we're practicing worship, in its many beautiful forms, today.
